Here it is! Now it’ll sit on the lawn till Tuesday.

Last night we had quite the rainstorm.
It appears to have exposed a drainage problem in the latest wicking box. The watercress doesn’t seem to mind though.

This bucket had some raspberry filling in it originally. I scored it from the bread shop and left it out on the front lawn to clean it. Fortuitously, the rainwater is pink, which makes it easy to see what a downpour we had.
No wonder the watercress is swimming!
The Great Pumpkin Experiment (with added sunflowers) appears to be loving it, though.

    Nice set of wheels.

How long do the sunflowers take to germinate? I’ve never grown them. Do they get so tall that they have to be staked?

Love the car. Rain here too about 16 mm according to the radio this morning. All I know was it bucketed down – good thing I planted my carrot and lettuce seed yesterday ; – )

Woot on your new car 🙂
Had a drop or two in Oakleigh while they reckon a mini tornado hit Dunolly.

We had tons of rain yesterday here as well! It finally left today, though.

Congrats on the new car! She’s a beauty! 🙂

    Nice car. Very nice car.
Toss some rice in with the watercress, rice loves boggy conditions. You’ll have yourself a little rice paddy.

The rain was lovely – my garden looks fresher already – although it does seem to have flattened my potatoes a bit….

I think you got more rain than we did. We had quite a short, sharp downpour and I could see the worst of it just skirt past us.

    New shiny car! Nice!

  8. Simon says:

Nice shinny wheels – do hope it is on LPG… think of the savings….

Don't be shy... say something!
