It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…
Proof being that tonight I’m doing a cooking class for 50+ people with a Christmas theme. This means new recipes, lots of prep and a full Sunday gone to get ready for tonight. It’s a lot of work and I’ve rapidly come to the conclusion that my instinct all last year to only do classes in the holidays was a good one. All yesterday was spent cooking, deciding on a menu and organising everyone. Today I was up early doing the computer work and then it was off to work. The hour and a half turn around I have between the end of work and when I have to leave for the class is going to be full of frenzied activity.
Actually, if you’d told me two years ago that I’d be cooking in front of 50 people I’d have laughed incredulously. Funny what life brings. Tomorrow is Presentation night at school, (Ryan18 is getting a music award) and then it’s all plain sailing to Christmas!
